Our office is still without phone or Internet access.  We are working from a remote location. If you need to file a claim, or need us for any related items (ie: billing, questions, online payments, quotes, ect), all calls are being forwarded. The Situation is Critical.    Local Families are Hungry & Cold.   Food & Funds Are Needed Today.   You can help. As of November 2, Center for Food Action has already  helped 65 families affected by the storm. This week, many more neighbors  will be turning to CFA for help.  With or without power, CFA’s doors will be open. Shelter Assistance

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), at the request of New Jersey and New York, has activated its Transitional Sheltering Assistance (TSA) program. This program allows eligible survivors who are in shelters and cannot return to their homes due to damages caused by Hurricane Sandy to stay in participating hotels or motels until more suitable housing accommodations are available. The first step to receiving assistance is by registering with FEMA. Anyone who does need to make a payment can pay through their Western Union automated payment system at 866.621.4076. They are prioritizing claims based on their severity and ask that you hold off on submitting minor claims so that all efforts can be focused on the most severe cases.

Due to Hurricane Sandy, we would like to pass along some pertinent information  regarding FEMA and how to apply for assistance that is available on the FEMA website.   HOW TO APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE   Those in the county designated for assistance to affected residents and business owners can begin the disaster application process by registering online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov, by web enabled mobile device at m.fema.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).The toll-free telephone numbers are available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (local time) Monday through Sunday until further notice. Sandy may of been downgraded, but her damage is devastating. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency announced that federal disaster aid has been made available to the State of New Jersey and ordered federal aid to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area affected.
